Irish Golf: Daily Mirror is a big hit with young stars of tomorrow.(Sport) - The Mirror (London, England)

A RECORD number of young golfers from across Northern Ireland gathered at Blackwood Golf Centre in Bangor for The Daily Mirror Junior Golfer of the Year in association with Nike Golf last Saturday.

Over 180 children took part in the tournament organised by golf pro Debbie Hanna who said: 'A number of very promising young players took part which is good news for the future of golf in Northern Ireland.'
